Privacy Policy

AsMoment (“we,” “our”) is a new-generation social networking platform where users store, share, and interact with content using their personal cloud storage accounts (Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, Amazon S3). Users control the visibility of content in private, community, or optional public spaces.

We respect your privacy and handle content using end-to-end encryption, zero-knowledge principles, and minimal necessary data collection.

• My Little Corner – Private, for the user only
   
• Family & Friends – Shared with invited contacts
   
• Communities – Shared with community members; optional public posts for recruitment
   
• Town Square – Public space for content sharing
   

Users retain control of who can view their content in each space.

• App login information: User name, email, and password are collected only to log in to the app and for necessary communication
   
• File metadata and content: Collected only by the app running on the user’s device
   
• Temporary server cache: For performance, metadata and content may be cached on servers, but all cached data is encrypted and inaccessible to AsMoment
   

Third-party OAuth login

• AsMoment provides a secure UI for logging into Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or Amazon S3
   
• No login credentials, names, or profile pictures are collected from these services

• All content is encrypted on the user’s device before uploading to cloud storage and decrypted only on the device after retrieval
   
• Cached content on AsMoment servers is encrypted and can only be decrypted on authorized viewers’ devices
   
• AsMoment has no capability to decrypt or access private content
   
• Communications use HTTPS/TLS
   
• Screenshots by viewers are outside AsMoment’s control

We use collected information only to:

• Authenticate users and connect to cloud storage
   
• Display content to authorized viewers
   
• Enable interactions (comments, likes)
   
• Provide necessary communication from the app
   
• Improve app functionality and experience
   

We do not sell, rent, or share private content.

• Users control visibility of content per space
   
• Optional public posts are clearly indicated
   
• Users can report inappropriate content; reported content may be reviewed by administrators

• Content deleted from My Little Corner is removed immediately
   
• Content in other spaces may persist temporarily due to caching, but remains encrypted and inaccessible to AsMoment

AsMoment enables users to connect to third-party cloud storage providers to store and manage their content. Supported platforms include Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and Amazon S3.

When authenticating with any third-party service, AsMoment provides the login interface via secure OAuth or Access Key entry. User credentials for these services are not collected or stored by AsMoment and remain exclusively on the user’s device.

Users may choose to:

1. Store their content in their own Amazon S3 bucket
   AsMoment does not have access to users’ AWS access keys, secrets, or bucket contents.
    
2. Store content using AsMoment’s Amazon S3 storage infrastructure
   In this case, content is encrypted on the user’s device prior to transfer and can only be decrypted by the user or authorized viewers.
    
3. Allow temporary caching in AsMoment’s Amazon S3 storage for performance optimization
   Cached content remains fully encrypted, and AsMoment has no technical ability to decrypt, view, or otherwise access it.

• Users must be at least 16 years old
   
• AsMoment relies on self-certification and does not collect additional verification information

• Updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted publicly
   
• Continued use constitutes acceptance
